ABOUT DR. RANDY

Dr. Randy Raetz was born and raised in Lockport, New York, which is just north of Buffalo, New York. After graduating high school, he attended the University of Rochester, where he obtained a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Biology. He went on to the University of Buffalo for Dental School. After dental school, he did a General Practice Residency at University Hospital in Syracuse, New York. After his residency, he became assistant director of the dental program at University Hospital. In 1996, Dr. Raetz left Syracuse for Rochester New York, where he began working for the Rushville Health Center, in Rushville, New York. 

In August 2004, Dr. Raetz opened up his own practice, located within the Westfall Park Medical Center.  Prior to this, Dr. Raetz worked at another dental practice in Henrietta, at St. John's Nursing Home, at Industry School in Rush, New York, and the Finger Lakes Migrant Health Care Project.

Dr. Raetz is also very active in organized dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, The New York State Dental Society, the 7th District Dental Society, the Monroe County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry.

OUR STAFF

Christine is Dr. Raetz’s office manager.  She has been with Dr. Raetz since December 2004. Originally from Rochester, and has lived here all of her life. Previously she was employed at the University of Rochester Alumni Association. She enjoys playing tennis and hanging out with her friends and family. She also has two cats, Cookie and Lucy that she has had since they were three weeks old. Christine looks forward to meeting you in our office!

Tammy is Dr. Raetz’s dental assistant.  She has worked with him since 2001. Tammy is from Rochester and she lives with her husband David in Henrietta. She is active in the Henrietta Elk’s Club, and she enjoys playing horseshoes and spending time with family and friends. She is an avid snowmobiler and loves when we get a huge amount of snow. Tammy looks forward to helping to provide you with your dental care.

Mary Jo is one of Dr. Raetz’s dental hygienists and she has worked with him since 1997.
Mary Jo lives in Henrietta, NY with her husband Terry and their three children Joe, Katie and Aaron.  She likes to spend her weekends in the 1000 Islands with her family. Boating, fishing and relaxing are her favorite hobbies.  She looks forward to meeting you!

Leslee is one of Dr. Raetz’s dental assistants.  She started out as a patient of Dr. Raetz’s and became a dental assistant in the office in May 2008.  She is originally from Northern NY and now lives in Rochester’s Highland Park neighborhood.  She enjoys horticultural photography, traveling, cooking, gardening and foreign films.  She loves winter sports and is a former competitive figure skater.  She is excited to be part of Dr. Raetz’s staff and look forward to helping with your dental care.

Maureen is one of Dr. Raetz’s hygienists and she has worked with him since May 2007.  She is originally from Cheektowaga, NY and graduated from Erie Community College.  She lives in Henrietta with her husband Tom and her three children Jake, Kelly and Nick.  In between taking the kids to and from all their various activities, she enjoys gardening and spending time in the Adirondack Mountains with friends, as well as skiing in the winter.  She looks forward to meeting you and giving you the very best dental care.
